BAYCS Ambassadors
BAYCS Ambassadors is a 10-week program for youth aged 11-20 to make an impact on their communities. BAYCS members provide mentorship for our interns to create a Climate Action Plan in their communities. Spring 2026 is our first cohort. Learn more about the program and our mentees below!
Applications for our next cycle begin February 2027.
about the program

This year's cohort is composed of 9 middle and high schoolers from around the Bay Area! Every Wednesday, they learn more about topics like outreach and budgeting, while receiving one on one mentorship from BAYCS team members. This year, our ambassadors' climate action plans range from sustainable fashion workshops to beach cleanups.
what we do
This 10-week program is designed to support middle school to college students in launching a Climate Action Plan (CAP) in the Bay Area, a project to address climate change in your own community locally. It can vary from anything from a beach cleanup to an advocacy movement for a legislation.
No previous experience is required. We are enthusiastic to meet you wherever you are at from across the Bay!
