1. What project are you moving forward with right now?

I am planning on filming a video series on the ocean and wildlife issues occurring in the Bay. It will feature the nature reserves around San Francisco and how they are being harmed.

2. Who is your mentor and what are your initial impressions?

Jasmine.

3. What you both have in common?

My initial impressions were that we both had an interest in marine life and animals. I deeply appreciate this because I have not encountered many environmentalists focused on habitat loss and endangered species, as the majority of those I work with are concerned with environmental justice and waste management. It was incredibly refreshing to meet someone with similar interests and passions.

4. What you hope to learn from your mentor?

I hope to learn more about the wildlife issues going on in the Bay and to be more familiar with the climate space. Animals have always been something I have admired, and I hope to share their stories and perspective by raising awareness through photography.
