Meet the Ambassador - Bahiya Davis

Bio: I am a junior at Foothill High School. I wish to pursue a career and general involvement in the preservation of ecology and forestry around local and faraway communities. My favorite pastime is photography and using my camera to capture images of local ecology. I also love hanging out with my close friends and going to local band shows!

This blog will cover my journey through discovering and understanding different aspects of ecology. I’ve made it my goal to learn more about the environment this year than I ever have before and I can not wait to learn new things that I likely have never taken into consideration before. I am attempting to justify the time I wish to spend investigating biodiversity as well as invasive and native species local to my community, nonetheless it’s for the better. During the next few weeks I can see myself working with parks near my home and hopefully encouraging others around me to appreciate and care for the environment as much as possible. Honestly, I am incredibly excited to work alongside people who are truly passionate about something that benefits so many different types of people and species and I cannot wait to begin putting my plan into action.
