Meet the Ambassador - Sasha Hahn

Bio: I’m Sasha, a sophomore at El Cerrito High School, who’s driven to address the immense environmental impacts of the garment industry, and is passionate about biotechnology and policy writing. I run an initiative called Fashion’s Facade that promotes industry transparency education throughout my community and am a Researcher with the UC Berkeley sustainable internet lab where I research biomaterials and how they contend with other garments. I like to sew and alter clothes, dance, or figure skate when I’m not planning my next fast fashion pop-up!

Through CAP I hope to strengthen relationships with like minded individuals and be able to work with a community who directs their passion towards positive change! I also look forward to having a window into other issues people are passionate about, because I know just what it’s like to be driven by a passion for climate action.
