7th Annual Bay Area Youth Climate Summit
Sunday, 8 AM - 2 PM, September 27, 2026
On September 27th, we will host our 7th annual Bay Area Youth Climate Summit, at the David Brower Center in Berkeley! Young people of all ages, educators, and climate advocates are invited for a day of education and connection. We will have morning and afternoon workshops, an opening keynote, free lunch at our tabling fair, and other interactive activities. Registration is open now!
Keynote Speaker
Merrian Borgeson (she/her)
Merrian Borgeson is one of California’s leading policy experts working to create an affordable and reliable zero-emissions energy system. She is the director of CA climate & energy policy at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).
Prior to joining NRDC, she worked as a team leader at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Borgeson holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, a master’s from the University of California, Berkeley, Energy and Resources Group, and an MBA from Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. She is based in San Francisco.
