Our newsletter has 3-5 take-action opportunities each month from around the Bay Area, ranging from community environmental events to internships to volunteer opportunities. It also has two environmental articles written by BAYCS team members and all of our updates for the month–a great place to stay in the loop!
Join the Team!
The BAYCS team is a group of roughly 25 youth and is the sole organizing base behind our events. Applications are typically open once or twice a year in late spring. We highly encourage high schoolers in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade to apply! Please subscribe to our newsletter to be updated about applications!
Create a Climate Action Plan (CAP)!
Climate Action Plans (CAPs) are great way to introduce climate action into your community! This could be anything from starting a compost program to creating an environmental club to compiling local opportunities in a website. BAYCS has an Ambassadors program for middle-through-college-aged youth to develop a Climate Action Plan (CAP). Learn more about Ambassadors and CAPs here!
