Meet the Ambassador - Zachary Koh

Bio: I am Zachary Koh, and I am an 8th grader at Hillview Middle School. I am interested in mitigating destructive factors presented to the ocean, such as plastic pollution and overfishing. Outside of BAYCS, I play soccer at the NPL level with the Palo Alto Soccer Club, and I also play the viola in the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra and in a quartet I started with my friends.

On this blog, I hope to write about the accomplishments I will achieve on my CAP. I am interested in mitigating plastic pollution and harmful fishing practices in order to support the wellbeing of our oceans. I aim to achieve these goals by publicizing the detrimental effects of these practices to our environment, starting with my community and gradually growing larger. I want to make a measurable and permanent impact on my community that lasts beyond the duration of my CAP.
