Meet the Ambassador - Benjamin Rich

Bio: Hi guys! My name is Ben Rich and I am a junior at Terra Nova High School. I am passionate about making a positive change in my community whether that's through environmental action, volunteering or helping create opportunities for my peers around me.

In this blog I'll be documenting my experience in the Bay Area Climate Summit and the progression of my CAP( Climate Action Plan). I'm interested in how everyday choices like the clothing we buy and wear can have a negative effect on the environment. Through BAYCS I hope to accomplish turning my ideas into real actions by creating a project that helps reduce waste caused by fast fashion and encourages the people in my community to take initiative. I'm excited to learn from my peers who are also passionate about climate issues and see what we can accomplish over the next ten weeks.
