This past Saturday, students with BAYCS joined in shaking some seeds to spread wildflowers across SF’s Sunset Boulevard. Starting at St. Ignatius High School, we walked, scootered, and skated along the some landscaped and some barren sidewalks. In a fight to combating urbanization, we shook over a pound of wildflower seeds (about 10,000 flowers worth) and 3 times as much rice hull seeds for them to settle in.
